Baba Baidyanath temple, or Baba Dham temple, is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and is situation in the Deoghar region of the Jharkhand state. Temple complex has the main Baba Baidyanath temple along with 21 other temples.
Millions of pilgrims from various parts of India visit the temple every year, specially during Shraavan, between July and August. People offer holi water of Ganges collected from Sultanganj, which is approximately 110 km from Deoghar. Thousands of kanwariyas also walk several kilometres to offer their “Jal,” or holy water, to Baba Baidyanath.
After the Babadham pilgrimage, you can visit Basukinath temple, which is another lord Shiva temple and is located around 50 km from Deoghar toward the Dumka district. How to reach
